As a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy, Magalie is committed to and bound by their strict codes of practice and ethics. Her aim is to empower people to accomplish their goal of living a healthier and fulfilling life by giving them the tools to do so themselves. She also believes in working with clients rather than instructing them at a pace they feel comfortable with, so the dietary changes are more sustainable in the long term. She does not believe in "diets" and drastic changes and ONLY believes in changing the way her clients eat for the better and make them realise how enjoyable, simple and powerful FOOD can be.
Magalie follows a holistic approach when seeing clients, which is aimed at treating the body as a whole – by addressing the root cause of the health problem rather than treating the symptoms. It can be used alone or in conjunction with conventional medicine and many other holistic therapies. She uses whole foods, biochemical tests (when needed) and specialised supplements to rebalance the body's system to restore optimum health.
She practices in a private medical clinic in Putney and Guildford where she sees clients on a one-to-one basis and is available for office and home visits as well.
Magalie also writes for various organisations (ION, Endometriosis UK and Nourish Health Food Shop) and works as a Part-time Biocare consultant covering the Surrey region. Being a real foodie, she has recently launched Healthy Cookery Workshops. She also offers personal workshops at clients’ private homes which are designed specifically to suit their dietary requirements.
Magalie is busy training with renowned Janet Thomson in Thought Field Therapy (TFT), which in conjunction with nutrition, can help people come to terms with emotional eating and weight problems in the long-term.
She has a special interest in allergies, heart health, depression, digestive disorders, female health, liver health, skin health, children health, sports nutrition & weight-loss. She works closely with a medical doctor based in Harley Street who uses the most advanced allergy test on the market.
Magalie has followed the GI/GL diet for many years after being diagnosed with PCOS in her early twenties. She became passionate about it and decided to study nutrition and empower people to take charge of their health and change their dietary routine for life.
She recently became interested in Zest4Life after seeing clients struggle on a daily basis with self-esteem and weight problems. After helping them to improve their health and lose weight steadily, they asked her whether she would be able to run weight-loss workshops in the future. This is when she realised Zest4Life was the most professional weight-loss solution on the market at present, delivering education, coaching, motivation and a sustainable way of life.
Magalie will be delivering the new 12-week Zest4life nutrition and weight-loss programme at Mediclinic in Guildford, aimed at giving clients the motivation and support needed to make lasting improvements to their lifestyle and diet.
